ABOUT ME
Welcome! My name is Ryan— the one-man-show behind Walk with the Pack. I have over seven years of professional experience walking dogs along Portland’s northwest neighborhood sidewalks.
As a native Oregonian, I spent my early years in southern Oregon’s storybook city of Ashland— caring for animals ranging from cows and birds to rabbits, cats, and of course, dogs.
As a former pastry chef, banquet manager, and current fitness enthusiast, I’ve been able to combine the unique skillset of the service industry with health, wellness, and my passion for animals. It truly is a dream come true.

I am joined daily by my assistant manager, Tali— a talkative senior keeshond whom you have probably seen as she stewards the pack around the neighborhood. In addition to being a “Dogfather,” I enjoy gaming, films, theater, sports, and a really good playlist (I hail from the days of mixtapes, what can I say).
I would love to meet your pup, introduce them to the pack, and have the privilege of being a part of their day.
WHAT WE OFFER
I offer the benefits of pack walking on weekdays in a trio of close-in Northwest Portland neighborhoods: Alphabet District, Slabtown, and Nob Hill.
Experience has taught me that the social enrichment, confidence-building, and exercise enjoyed from pack walking make for very fulfilled dogs. It’s something not many of us have the time or resources to do, especially under the rigorous demands of our weekday work culture. That’s where I come in!
I only offer pack walking, in 15 min increments up to an hour, available across four common and convenient pick-up windows throughout the day Monday-Friday. I operate entirely on foot, so the Pack will strategically ebb and flow across the map throughout the day (while I log some serious miles!). See options below.
PICK-UP WINDOWS
You will be able to choose from four windows for your pup's walk. They can be picked up at any time during that timeframe. Due to the nature of pack walking, scheduling, availability & mileage, specific pickup and drop off times within the window are not offered. Closed weekends, major holidays, and during icy conditions.

Do you want your pup to walk with the pack?
Fill out the form to request a half hour meet-n-greet. I will come by and meet your pup, answer all of your questions, and see if this program is a good fit for them, and vice versa.
I will also discuss the finer points of the experience: like health and temperament requirements, weather protocol, secure access, and cancellation policy.
